It was a cold and damp morning. The sun was rising, bringing light to the small town. It was another day for Mohan. Whether this day would bring cheer to his dreary life ,remained to be seen. He finished his toilet, got dressed and left his lodgings. He had to be in his office by 9.45 AM.The bus stop was crowded at that time,8.30 am.He waited patiently for his bus. When it came, he was lucky to find an empty seat. He reached his destination by 9.30 am. Entering his office, he was surprised to see that it was full. Practically all the employees were there. Raju came up to him. " Heard the latest news? Our owner has shot himself in his office at 8.00 am. The police are here. They have asked us all to go home." "Why did he do it?" asked Mohan." Apparently, he had lost a lot of money in betting and gambling. He used our company's money also. Looks like they may close down the company. What are we to do now? " It appeared to Mohan that they all faced loss of employment. He called his friends to him. Logu, Suresh, Damu and Karthik came upto him. " Let us go ouside and have a coffee. what do you say? " asked Mohan. " Yes, let's go . We have a lot to discuss. Where do we start looking for a job? " said Suresh. They went to a nearby cafe. They ordered coffee and started discussing the situation. " It is impossible to get a job easily. We will have to tighten our belts." said Logu. " Yes, " said Mohan, "but something has to be done and fast. But what? " " If jobs are difficult to get, we will have to do something on our own. " said Karthik.
